Welcome to Penelope's
Penelope's is a small, friendly and welcoming tea shop in the heart of Wisborough Green village overlooking the cricket green. There is ample parking at and near the tea shop and around the green itself. We pride ourselves on using local ingredients. Our meats are supplied by the Warnham Butchery; eggs from Coolham, jams, marmalades, pickles and chutnies from Billingshurst; honey from the village and vegetables and salads from local farmers' markets. We use organic milk.

Vegetable and meat lasagnes, cottage pies, burgers and puddings are home made.

The cakes and scones are home made by two local ladies.

All our meals and sandwiches are freshly prepared and made to order.

Special arrangements can be made to open up earlier for breakfast or close later than 5pm. Penelope's is also available for private evening functions for a set menu (with veg option) for 8 or more. Please contact me to discuss.

Groups of cyclists, motorbikers, scooterists, walkers and ramblers, etc. are most welcome although I would appreciate some notice for large groups of 12 or more.

Well behaved dogs and well behaved children accompanied by their well behaved owners are also very welcome.
